Fifth Annual Burbon County Relay For Life event was held at Frary Field
An important part of the Relay For Life is the opening ceremonies during which Cancer Survivors are invited to walk the first lap around the track in honor of their victories.
Many of the Survivors are joined by friends and loved ones in the victory lap. As the survivors finished there victory lap. People in the grand stand rose and applauded the survivors.
Once the Cancer Survivors finish their victory lap. The teams hit the track, keeping one person from each team on the track for the next 12 hours. 
on the evening of Friday, August 6,1999 around seven o'clock and continue until the next morning.
