What is RELAY FOR LIFE?

The Relay for Life is a 12-hour team event to fight cancer. Teams of 8-15 people raise money for the American Cancer Society. Teams are formed from company's, schools, clubs, and other organizations to walk, run or roll (wheel chairs) in relay fashion for 12 hours around the track of a local school. The field becomes a ‘tent city'... as teams camp-out, waiting for their turn to walk.

Cancer survivors are the focus of the event... where we honor those who have overcome the disease!
